Pre Launch Checklist
A final pre-launch checklist for confirming analytics, search setup, updates, reporting, caching, licenses, Reserve with Google, and schema before a site goes live.
When to use this resource
Use this checklist immediately before launch after the build and QA passes are complete. It is intended as the final readiness gate for technical setup, reporting, and live-environment configuration.
Analytics and event tracking
Confirm that analytics is installed correctly and that event tracking is configured before launch.
- Google Analytics setup is complete.
- Event setup is complete.
Google Search Console
Make sure the property is connected and ready for indexing and monitoring.
- Google Search Console property is set up.
- Sitemaps have been submitted.
Platform and plugin readiness
Validate that the live WordPress environment is updated, licensed, and configured cleanly.
- WordPress is updated.
- Theme is updated.
- Plugins are updated.
- Licenses are applied.
- Cache is set up correctly.
GolfBack platform connections
Confirm that GolfBack-specific services and reporting integrations are ready before traffic is pushed live.
- GolfBack report setup is complete.
- Google Reserve setup is complete where applicable.
Search and structured data
Review the final visibility layer so the site launches with correct discoverability signals.
- Schema is implemented and validated.
Launch gate
Do not launch until analytics, Search Console, update status, reporting, cache behavior, licenses, Reserve setup, and schema have all been confirmed in the live environment.
